Die ESOBP II ist Geschichte!

The ESOBP - European Series of Beer Pong II Weekend was a blast and over too fast! The main event title was pulled back to Austria by Die Bierathleten. Dave! and Manu!, the locals from Innsbruck are the European Beer Pong Champions for the second time after winning the ESOBP Kick Off 2014. Last summer they also won the GSOBP (German Series) and therefore won a second bid and more travel/pocket money to have a great time at the World Series of Beer Pong in June! The Co-Ed title went also to Dave!, together with his girlfriend Nina. The Kraken of the Twin Towers also kept the third title in Austria and rocket the one.on.one Championships

The ESOBP II Weekend began on Friday, Jan 6th around 2pm with the Co-Ed Tournamen for teams with one female and one male ponger each. A punch of highly skilled pongers teamed up in new interesting combos and challenged the traditional mixed teams. Succesfully as the title stayd in Austria with Dave! of Die Bierathleten playing with his girlfriend of the Desp.Housewives and took the title in front of Frankenkreuz (Bianca of Kreuzspiel and Warrior Waschi).

The following night was the night of yet Europes bigges one.on.one tournament. 128 Pongers - the maximum - registered and even showed up in time to not let any of the players on the waiting list sneak in the tournament. At the end four players reached the Bracket Finals: The Kraken (Twin Towers, AUT) versus Balka (B1, HUN) and in a German Match hasler (RPM Surk) and FabKal (BP Rieberg). In the latter FabKal, coming out of the loser bracket could beat favorised hasler twice. In the other game The Kracken also needed a second game and all togther around a dozent overtimes to beat balka in one of the best one.on.one games ever played in Europe. In the Championship Game (best of 3) the Austrian Kraken could take the win in two games, crowned himself to the first official European one.on.one Beer Pong Champion and took the 350.- Euro Check!
In the Match for 3rd place hasler beat Balko and the fifth place was tied by two players of the BPC Franken, Crouch and Waschi.

Main Event:

At the third crowning of the official "European Beer Pong Champion" the local heroes of Die Bierathleten could get the title back from Cup&Cupper, the defending Champion. After the title at the ESOBP Kick Off 2014 the young Austrians could reach out for the trophy again and will represent Europe around the pentecost weekend at the World Series of Beer Pong in Las Vegas. This time Dave! is old enough and after the win at the German Series last summer they won the second bid already and some extra travel/pocket money to even increase the fun!

In the Championship game it was again Dave! vs. Waschi, just as the day before in the Co-Ed tournament and the second win for the Austrian on this weekend
